How long is a voucher valid for?

A voucher is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase, unless a longer validity period is specified in the description of a particular offer.

Does the workshop have to take place before the voucher expires?

No. You only need to make the booking before the voucher expires. The workshop itself may take place after the voucher expiry date.

Example: if your voucher is valid until 30 September, you may book a workshop on 30 September that takes place in October or later, provided that it is available in our current offer.

Which workshops can I use my voucher for?

You can use your voucher for any in-person workshop available in our current offer, subject to availability. A voucher does not guarantee a place on a specific workshop or the availability of a particular workshop theme.

What if the workshop costs more than the value of my voucher?

You can use your voucher and pay the difference between its value and the current price of the selected workshop.

What if the workshop costs less than the value of my voucher?

If the workshop price is lower than the value of your voucher, the unused balance is non-refundable and cannot be used towards another booking.

Can I extend the validity of my voucher?

Yes. If your voucher has expired and has not been used, you may contact us within 30 days of its expiry date and request a one-time, free extension of 3 months.

What if more than 30 days have passed since my voucher expired?

Once 30 days have passed from the voucher expiry date, you are no longer automatically entitled to an extension. In individual cases, we may decide to grant an additional extension, taking into account factors such as the amount of time that has passed since the voucher expired, the reason why it was not used, and workshop availability. Any such extension is discretionary and is not guaranteed.

What if I was unable to use my voucher for reasons attributable to Polish Your Cooking?

If, for a significant part of the voucher validity period, you were unable to use it for reasons attributable to us, for example due to there being no available places in our booking system for 90 days, please contact us.

Can I change the date of a workshop booked using a voucher?

Changing the date after a booking has been made is not automatically guaranteed and requires our individual approval. If you know that you will be unable to attend the workshop, please contact us before it begins. The earlier we receive the information, the greater the chance that we will be able to find a solution.

Can someone else attend the workshop instead of me?

Yes. If you are unable to attend a booked workshop, you may nominate another person to take your place, provided that the nature of the workshop does not require participants to meet any specific conditions.

Can I return an unused voucher?

If the voucher was purchased online and has not yet been assigned to a specific workshop date, you may exercise your statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of entering into it, in accordance with the rules set out in our Terms and Conditions.
